The statistics are overwhelming. What was a generation ago an all-too-often “uncommon” condition today affects approximately 3% of all children born in the U.S. The diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder. It’s a diagnosis that impacts not only a child and his or her growth in life, but also that child’s entire family — and not just for a period of time, but a lifetime.

The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is the largest organization in the state serving neurodiverse children, teens, adults, families, teachers and caregivers. Access to information, resources and help is desperately needed — and to assist, ASSEW hired Outlier Brands to drive greater awareness, thereby helping all affected.

Our combined efforts with ASSEW produced the following achievements:

  • Web traffic increase 21% year over year
  • Capital campaign gala event increase of more than 100% year over year (to 500-plus)
  • Capital raised more than 200% year over year (to more than $360,000)
  • An American Advertising Federation Gold “Angel Award” for non-profit excellence
