Three months into the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic, it was time for the summer 2020 trip planning window in Southwest Florida. Travelers were seeking secluded vacation destinations within driving distance of their home, eager to avoid heavily populated areas. While they wanted to vacation, there was also intense anxiety around the health and safety of traveling and the reliability of accommodations’ sanitization practices. We contributed to the development of health and safety marketing practices while organizing a Rest Assured campaign that enabled guests to feel safe and secure booking their travel plans with Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts. This approach delivered creatively effective advertisements and gave weary travelers the peace of mind to relax and escape on the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Island, Florida.
